July 2009: Seven club members managed to get up before dawn and met at the Doolittle Prairie for a nature shoot. Selected pictures can be seen here.

December 2008: Luke Healey led a lighting workshop that was well attended, informative and fun. Here he demonstrates the use of a flash meter while standing under a pair of Novatron studio strobes.

November 2008: Paul Brooke combined a poetry reading and nature-photography talk for us, and the library provided the main auditorium and co-sponsored the program. Here's Paul in the "gilley suit" he uses to sneak up on wildlife:

In May 2007 the Story County Conservation Center announced the results of its annual Partners photo contest, and ACC members took two of the three categories.

In April 2007 we had the honor of Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Dennis Chamberlin (pictured below) coming to judge a club print contest, which had a "Winter" theme.
